Location
Overlooking the sea and the small pebble beach of Boccadasse, the most famous of the old fishing villages still visible in Genoa.
It is easily accessible by car, being just a few kilometres from the motorway exits (A7 – A10 – A12) that connect Genoa to the main national routes, and by train from the main station of Genova Brignole. Shops, pharmacies, banks, supermarkets and restaurants are all nearby and easily accessible.
Genoa boasts one of the largest historic centres in Europe and, during the Renaissance, hosted artists of the calibre of Rubens and Van Dyck, who decorated the churches and ancient noble palaces (the Rolli) which are still magnificently preserved and can be visited today.
The museums, the Old Port area, the Lighthouse and the Aquarium complete the truly rich offering that this city, known as la Superba, gives visitors. The Villa is also the ideal base for visiting the iconic places of Liguria, including the Cinque Terre, Portofino and Santa Margherita Ligure to the east, and Noli, Varigotti, Finalborgo, Verezzi, Cervo, Bussana Vecchia, Sanremo and Dolceacqua to the west.
