Historically, Cheval-Blanc got its name from the inn which bore that name. It served as a staging post for the travelers who took the ferry to cross the river. Nature is omnipresent and there are many hiking trails that cross it, between hundred-year-old olive trees, intoxicating lavender and bucolic hills. In some places quiet, in others lively, the village is a real haven of peace, in the heart of the Luberon Regional Natural Park. Of rural and traditional aspect, the streets and the buildings form a charming and harmonious whole to walk and discover the Provençal architecture. To go further in the discovery of this unique architecture, the Saint-Paul church or the Sainte-Thérèse chapel are remarkable points of interest. The two closest golf courses are the Golf of Pont Royal and the Golf of Saumane. Many villages, classified among the most beautiful in France, are quickly accessible: Lourmarin (30km), Roussillon (30km), Lacoste (23km), Gordes (22km) … The closest large cities are Cavaillon (4km), Avignon (30km) and Aix-en-Provence (50km). The airport of Marseille (57km) and the train station of Cavaillon (6km) serve as convenient drop-off points to easily arrive by train.

This Provencal bastide is located in the countryside at approximately 3 km of the center of the village of Cheval-Blanc, at the foot of the Luberon Natural Park, in the Vaucluse in Provence Cheval-Blanc is a little Provencal village where it is very nice to live.
