The large village of Coreglia Antelminelli is just one kilometre away and offers a few local shops and authentic restaurants such as L’Arcile and Da Corrado degli Antelminelli. The historic spa town of Bagni di Lucca is a 25-minute drive away and has been known for its thermal springs since Etruscan and Roman times. The area is full of beautiful sights, including the spectacular Ponte della Maddalena, also known as the Devil’s Bridge. The charming city of Lucca, with its intact city walls and many churches, is just 40 minutes away. Pisa and the coast can be reached in about an hour. The area is also ideal for hiking, rafting, and canoeing on the Serchio River.

The two-storey villa is built from natural stone and features a shaded dining terrace and a well-tended garden dotted with beautifully planted terracotta pots. A lovely pool completes the outdoor space.

Interior
Inside, guests will find wooden beamed ceilings, exposed stone walls, terracotta floors, and tasteful, comfortable furnishings. The two upstairs bedrooms are separated by a bamboo screen. A pellet stove on the ground floor provides warmth on cooler evenings. There is no heating upstairs. The adjoining flat belongs to the owner’s sister but is currently unoccupied.
