The main feature of the villa is an authentic circular tower built more than a thousand years ago, which was used to warn the local people when pirate ships were approaching. The tower was renovated at the beginning of the 1900s to create the villa, and other rooms were added later.
Now, there is a magnificent terrace at the top of the tower, linked to a smaller rounded terrace on top of a rocky ledge that juts out towards the sea. From up there you can see, in the distance, a stretch of the coast up to Amalfi and even as far as Capo di Conca dei Marini, which has a similar antique lookout tower. At closer range, you can see a promontory of white limestone covered in thick Mediterranean vegetation, with its steep cliffs overlooking the deep sea. Directly below you lies a little bay, where the shadows cast by the rocky sea bed cause the sea to change colour from deep blue to emerald green, and becoming white and transparent beside the shingled shore.

Exterior
The swimming pool is 3 meters (10 feet) large by 11 meters (36 feet) long. The area is equipped with a table, chairs, sun loungers and a swing. By the pool you will also find a bathroom which is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a shower. The swimming pool area is partly shaded by a pergola with a bamboo roof. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a wonderful view of the sea and of the coast of Amalfi. The pool is open from mid-May until the end of September.
The first terrace is 200 square meters (2150 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by an elegant pergola with a bamboo roof. It is equipped with masonry benches, as well as with tables, chairs and sun loungers. From the terrace you will enjoy a splendid view of the sea and of the coastline.
top level terrace – The second terrace is 55 square meters (590 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a characteristic pergola with a bamboo roof. It is equipped with wickerwork sofas and armchairs, as well as with a table and chairs. Here you will also find a portable barbecue. From the terrace you will enjoy a wonderful view of the sea, of Amalfi and the coast of Amalfi.
Bottom Terrace – The third terrace is 80 square meters (860 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by perfumed lemon and grapevine pergolas. It is equipped with tables, chairs and a swing. From the terrace you will enjoy an enchanting view of the sea.
Annex – The fourth terrace is 30 square meters (320 square feet) large. It is equipped with a table and chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy a spectacular view of the sea and of the coastline.
Interior
The first living room is paved with lucid blue tiles. The furnishings are elegant and welcoming, and include some antique pieces. The furnishings include a wickerwork sofa. There is a nice fireplace made of bricks. The dining table can accommodate 12 guests. From the living room you will be able to enter the third terrace with a view of the sea and of the coast of Amalfi through two French doors. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. Here you will also find a mini refrigerator.
The kitchen is equipped with a five-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, a toaster and other small appliances. There is also a barbecue. The dining table can accommodate six guests. From the kitchen a French door will take you to the third terrace with a view of the sea and of the coast of Amalfi. The room has a window with a view of the greenery and of the sea at a distance.
The half-bathroom is spacious and equipped with a washbasin and a toilet. Here you will also find a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board. You will be able to enter it from the corridor.
Middle level
You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the second bedroom or from another independent entrance from the terrace. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The furnishings include an armchair. From the bedroom you will be able to enter an external stairway that leads to the second terrace with a view of the garden and partially of the sea at a distance through a French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, tiled with lucid yellow majolica tiles and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a shower.
Important notice: members of your party might need to walk through this bedroom to reach the first bedroom (going through this room can be avoided by entering from the terrace).
