Location
The town of Canelli is part of the Community of the Hills “Tra Langa e Monferrato” together with the little towns of Calosso, Castagnole delle Lanze, Coazzolo, Costigliole d’Asti, Moasca, Montegrosso and San Marzano Oliveto and is the main town of the 52 municipalities of the Moscato area. Canelli is defined a real wine town and is considered one of the wine capitals of the world with its 524 wineries. The cultivated vines are Moscato, Barbera, Dolcetto, Freisa, Cortese and Chardonnay; the principal wines that have made Canelli famous all over the world are the “flanged cork” Asti Spumante and Moscato d’Asti, both vinified with DOCG (Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita = Denomination of Controlled and Guaranteed Origin) Moscato grapes. Canelli is a tourist destination thanks to its Underground Cathedrals, 20 km of old historical underground cellars dug into tufa rock that run through the entire subsoil of the town, and also an UNESCO World Heritage site.

Exterior
The unfenced park extends for about 4.000 sq m around the house, partly woodland and partly lawn (about 2000 sq m), including tall trees like the beautiful row of cypresses, colourful hedges, oleanders and roses while the perimeter is planted with hedges. On the south side lies the heated swimming pool and between it and the house is a beautiful pergola organised as an outdoor living area, the ideal place to enjoy the sunset over the Piedmontese hills. Close to the house is a paved terrace furnished with table and chairs for excellent outdoor meals.
Interior
The house has three floors connected via internal stone staircase. From the large private parking area you reach the main entrance on the ground floor which leads into the large open-plan area with bar corner, dining area and kitchen. This area has numerous direct exits to the garden and then the pool.
On the ground floor are the first two residential units, composed of living/sitting room and kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom with shower. One unit has a double bedroom with dividable beds while the second is a twin bedroom.
On the first floor are three residential units: the first with living/sitting room and kitchen, a double bedroom with divisible bed and a bathroom with shower, the second with living/sitting room and kitchen, a twin bedroom and a bathroom with shower, while the last one is a studio apartment with kitchen/dining area with a single bed and an additional cupboard foldaway bed, a bathroom with shower and a large terrace for exclusive use.
In the basement, in addition to a bike shelter and a laundry room, is the large gym specifically equipped for those who want to practise Pilates which can be used only if accompanied by a certified instructor.
